Hello Everyone i have developed a database based application in PHP-MYSQL. The database contains 15000+ records, while i'm querying for certain records from PhpMyadmin then it gives me result but the processing time is very slow and after generating the result PhpMyadmin hangs for some times.IN future the no of record will be more.The application is running remotely with go-daddy's dedicated database. Should i change the database from MySQL to Oracle for my local server ??? What should i do in remote case ? should i use MySQL or oracle? If yes then which free version of oracle should i use for local server?
