Laravel 5.4 - 读取xlsx文件

Question

I am trying for the first time to implement reading from a xlsx file functionality. From the examples I could find I have come up with something like this:

The xlsx file has 7 columns and more than 2000 rows, but I get:

Undefined offset: 5

Reading XLSX files is an hard/long path. Some quality libs are already here to help you. Here is one lib to manipulate XLSX for Laravel: https://github.com/rap2hpoutre/fast-excel

After re-reading your question, I think you are confusing CSV and XLSX. CSV is a simple text format like:

heading1,heading2
value1,value2
value3,value4

XLSX is more like a binary format. You can't parse it with your small code portion. So you should use the lib I mentioned before.

Example to get all rows of a XLSX as a Collection:

$items = (new FastExcel)->import('file.xlsx');
