We've recently built a feature in our software that interacts with Facebook Pages. We utilize the proper token generation procedure to obtain a long-lived page access token. In testing, we had no issues registering Facebook pages with our software, and in production, like 99% of people are working with this with no issue.
However, we have a few clients who are unable to hook their Facebook Page into our software. Given that this worked fine in testing and that most clients are not having any issues, I assume that there is some kind of page-specific or user-specific setting or something at play that is causing the errors.
We use the PHP SDK, and this is the error that we are getting (pretty generic):
exception 'Facebook\Exceptions\FacebookAuthorizationException' with message 'Permissions error' in /home/campussuite/vendor/facebook/graph-sdk/src/Facebook/Exceptions/FacebookResponseException.php:137
I should note that we are using the same permissions requirements and such for each integration, so I would imagine if one person approves the batch of permissions for their page and it works, I see no reason why it wouldn't work for another.
Posting here to see if anyone has any ideas as to what settings or things might be at play on an individual's account or page(s) that would be causing the issues. Thanks.
