I have a DigitalOcean VPS where I host some production apps, when I try to do sudo service nginx restat or systemctl restart nginx.service I get the following error:

I ran sudo nginx -t and conf and syntax are ok, wha twould be the problem?

My production apps also appear to work properly.

Check your nginx error log.

located in /var/log/nginx/error.log , you may find some clue about what is happening .
