Short summary:
- I have own implementation of OFController (golang) for OVS and OF.
- I'm using vswitch from "github.com/digitalocean/go-openvswitch/ovs"
- I have a test which creates all network environment and creates controllers on specified ports, and configure rules in OF to use these controllers.
- NOTE: everything works fine without step-by-step debugging
- IDE is GoLang (if it makes sense)
The issue:
- The test sends a package to vswitch, which then is received by my controller and if I debug step-by-step (which can take some time) vSwitch drop connection because it thinks that controller is dead (by timeout). As a result all debug session is terminated or hangs.
The Question:
- Is it possible to configure OVS to wait infinite (or at least more than 10 sec, e.g. 10 min) for a response?
