I know strings, but I want to get this value, in my case:

file=blabla hahaha something

The string I want is "hahaha"

How to extract that specific string between two known words?

You could check regexp.FindStringSubmatch, as in this example:

import "regexp"

    s := "xx blabla hahaha something yy"
    re := regexp.MustCompile(`blabla (.*?) something`)
    fmt.Printf("%q
", re.FindStringSubmatch(s))
}

Output:

["blabla hahaha something" "hahaha"]

FindStringSubmatch returns a slice of strings holding the text of the leftmost match of the regular expression in s and the matches, if any, of its subexpressions.

Here the index 1 of the result if the "hahaha" string searched for.
