使用JQuery Ajax调用链接

I've this code below:

At this moment when I call the number it calls the href on the same page. What I want is to call the link but without reloading the page and not opening a new tab. The idea would be to call the link by clicking the number using jquery ajax but I have no clue how can I achieve it. Can someone help me? Thank you.
