RIDE uses some wxPython features that are not available on older 2.8 versions. We need to decided, test, and document what is the minimum. We will most likely target wxPython 2.8.10(.1) that was released in May 2009, but may need to require 2.8.11 released in May 2010.
We also need to test and document minimum Python version. That is most likely 2.6.
