Copy/Paste does not use system clipboard

I'm struggeling with copy/paste in RIDE. What especially does not work (at least I did not find a way): Mark some of the contents of one cell (the complete cell or only a part of it), and copy the selection in another cell, which wasn't empty before.

Example: cell 1: My wonderful first cell cell 2: second cell I would like to mark "My wonderful" in cell 1 and paste it in cell 2 at the beginning, so that I have "My wonderful second cell" at the end.

Any ideas? BTW: I'm working on LINUX via vnc.

    For some reason, on Linux Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V do not work with wxPython. You can select text inside cell and press Ctrl-Insert to copy it and Shift-Insert to paste is into another cell. The cell editor must be opened in the target cell for this to work.
