This bug affects Ubuntu 14.04 and 14.10 daily builds (both x86_64). Works on FreeBSD (x86) in a virtual machine.
The code attached is compiled and run with a midi-file as argument. Various sounds artifacts depending on the selection of audio driver. pulseaudio renders constant subtle sound artifacts. alsa sometimes renders complete digital noise, but other times starts sounding bad and noise is eventually fading out to the pure midi signal. with alsa, I have to kill pulseaudio between each run to get it to not render completely incorrect.
I have Realtek ALC269VC. I'm happy to try out any recommendations
