thonny does not run in Arch Linux

$ thonny

 $ hostnamectl

$ python --version 
Python 3.7.0 (default, Sep 15 2018, 19:13:07) 
[GCC 8.2.1 20180831]

after remove thonny and install thonny-git from aur

How did you first install Thonny? With bash <(wget -O - https://thonny.org/installer-for-linux) ?

I'm not familiar with Thonny aur package (it's not under my control).
