Consolidate async task executors

Question

We have more than one asynchronous task executor, consider consolidating them into the factory.

We can keep the submit methods on the various components, but they will simply propagate the call to the executor in the factory.

This will reduce the risk of concurrently accessing the native library.

Submit is not present on some components where it might be convenient, e.g. Media. Check all the high-level components.
