Positive vignetting correction causes white ring with black background

Originally reported on Google Code with ID 1507

In the "vignetting correction" tool setting amount to a positive value and strength
to anything above 1 doesn't produce expected results but instead draws a solid black
circle with a hard edge around the perimeter of the image. The size of the circle depends
on the parameters (value, strendth, radius).

Affected version of RawTherapee is 4.0.9.x (and previous) on all platforms (Windows
and Linux).

Instead of just creating a ring that gets progressively lighter the closer it gets to
the edge, this tool fills the area beyond some radius of the ring with almost black
(the original image barely shows through)
