rutorrent cannot access session directory

I'm running ubuntu 8.10 and everything is working fine with rutorrent and rtorrent 0.8.2 on many of my boxes, on one i get this error in the webui log window: [28.08.2009 00:53:36] Web server can't access rTorrent's session directory for read. ruTorrent will not work. (/home/user1/.rtsession/)

Permissions are 777 and i don't see why it should be able to access the directory.

Also consider that if i add torrents and change settings everything works fine, i can't find any reason why i see that error.

1) Which version of ruTorrent you use? 2) Paste here the output of command ls -la /home/user1/.rtsession and user/group of web-server's user.
