Updated description of the problem: - Select some text - Start to make an annotation - Before saving the annotations, change the text of the host document, in a way that impacts the annotation which is being created right now

Expected result: - A visual diff appears at the editor

Actual result: - Nothing happens.

To be more precise, you need a corpus change to trigger this error. (Corpus-preserving DOM changes are harmless in this aspect.)
