Net panel shows request stuck in progress when opening it in a new tab

I had an anchor with the attribute target="_blank". I attached a click handler to said
anchor, and the click handler fires off an async XHR. The url the anchor pointed to
opens in a new tab, the XHR completes (and callback fires), but the net panel shows
the request to always be in progress, and never completes.

I would expect that the XHR is shown to have completed in the net panel.

Firebug version (number): 1.10.3
Browser version: Firefox 15.0.1
Operating system: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard (both client and server)
