firebug violates overflow-x css property of body element

Originally reported on Google Code with ID 2418

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit http://www.mozilla.org/projects/nspr/reference/html/prinrvl.html
for an example. Increase your font size or resize your window to see that
the poor site redesign includes a CSS rule on the body to make the
horizontal scrollbar never appear.
2. Hit F12 to open Firebug. Navigate to the DOM tab.
3. Expand some of the DOM elements and mouse over them. When you mouseover
an overflowing element, the horizontal scrollbar appears, and does not
disappear until:
4a. Delete and recreate the overflow-x rule of the body element.
4b. Reload the page.
5. The horizontal scrollbar has again disappeared.

Maybe this isn't a bug, but a feature? Maybe some kind of notice would be good.

I think you mean the HTML tab when you're referring to the DOM tab.

Which version of Firebug and Firefox are you using?

I am noticing some strange inspect behavior using the steps you describe and the
listed site however, so I'm going to file this as such.
