Update and Count Issue putting two indices in the url

When calling the Update method the url given to the server is given with 2 indices.

http://someurl/documentpost/documentpost/2254215/_update?retry_on_conflict=3&refresh=true

I have tried multiple update methods to see if it made a difference and it doesn't. untitled

Same thing happens when call the .Count method

I'm not able to reproduce this. Could you provide your ConnectionSettings setup code that you're using to create the ElasticSearchClient.Instance? Also, what version of NEST are you using?

    The connectionsetting is

    new ConnectionSettings(uri).SetDefaultIndex("documentpost")

    Version is 1.1.1

That's actually not the index name you're seeing twice, its the index and the type, which in this case happen to both be the same.

Since you don't have a type name set for your documentPost type, NEST is automatically inferring the type name as documentpost by default.
