CodeIgniter - 如何保存Dropdown所选值并在返回页面时设置它

Question

I have a Dorpdown menu and when I select a value there is a table which chnages there entries regarding to this value. Out of the table I can open every single entry in a new page. I want to make a "Back" Button and when I go back to the page there should be the value selected whch I selected before.

Here is my Dropdown Code:

You can use $.cookie to get and set your selected item value into.

<select id="yourid">
</select>

$("yourid").on("change", function(){
   $.cookie("selectedItem", $(this).val())  
})

// when you return to page

var val = $.cookie("selectedItem");
if(val != null)
{
   $('#yourid option[value="' + val + '"]').attr('selected', 'selected');
}
