I am running a Woocommerce store (Flatsome theme) and in my shop I am using the Woocommerce product-category widget in the sidebar. By default only the parent categories are shown with the children being hidden (aria-expanded=false). Upon clicking the children are shown (aria-expanded=true).
How can I set the expanded state as the default, so that when you first load the page you can see all sub-categories without the additional click?

I checked already the class-wc-widget-product-categories.php but I am not skilled enough to find a solution for my issue there.
