PHP布尔似乎被卡住了[重复]

I have an if statement with a bool and I want it to become true after i click the button, (I've checked the button input and that's fine) then I want it to send i the info to the server then turn false and stop.

I've added in a bunch of echos to try and find the problem. I've deleted most of them, but pretty much the false one never comes and the save one won't go away

}

if($clided = "true"){

    echo"sent";
    $info_submit_query = mysqli_query($connection, "UPDATE users

    $clided = "false";

    echo "false";
}

The click function goes correctly, then it echos 'save' but then it never turns false.
