如何使用slideToggle（）的可能性进行砌体布局？

Question

I'm trying to make a masonry layout on a wordpress website. I would like to have a layout with 3 columns with the possibility to increase the height of an item by clicking in a button. When I click on "+", I would like to slideDown a div with some text inside it. And if possible, on click on "-", slideUp the div.

I tried Masonry, Freewall, Packery, Isotope, Magic Grid...I tried with multi column and Flex and it's not perfect... For example, when I slideDown the div, sometime the item is changing column. I just would like to "push" the column toward the bottom...
