I am trying to link up my pages in WordPress, the same way some of my other pages have been, but no luck.
I have a custom post type named "sectors" and a page with the template of sector-categories.php.
In here, I have a list of the sector categories, which link off to sectors inside this category, which is found in taxonomy-sectorcategories.php
Now, under my research, the file to display the single sectors should be single-sectors.php, but for some reason the single page is currently using my index.php.
Is there any reason why? This worked for my other categories and I followed the same route.
