I have a wordpress installation behind a proxy. In order to avoid certain cross domain issues i have used the proxy IP address for the "WordPress Address" and "WordPress Address". To summarize
Proxy IP - x.x.x.22 Wordpress server - x.x.x.97
wordpress site URL - x.x.x.22/mysite wordpress address URL - x.x.x.22/mysite
The problem i'm facing is that the external links i use in the posts do not work in expected manner. Actually all the external links are generated in the below format.
x.x.x.22/?https:www.google.com
Therefore it results in a 404 error.
What can be the reason for this issue? Is it due to the proxy?
