I feel dumb, however, I have looked at the docs and here is what I've done. The phone_format plugin is here: http://smarty.incutio.com/?page=PhoneFormatPlugin
I put that in a file plugins/modifier.phone_format.php I have a $smarty->setPluginsDir(array('./plugins','./plugins_2',)); I have tried to call it various ways, but according to the docs here: http://www.smarty.net/docsv2/en/language.modifiers.tpl
this should work:
{$phone|phone_format};
but it gives an error:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in for that line.
I have checked on the smarty board and many guys just say read the docs and are generally gruff that way. Anyone know this?
