can anyone help me how to create some script in php for due date reminder. Here is my example PHP code.

$name=milk;
$exp_date=2015-01-01;

What should I write to remind me 1 month before the expiration date. Thanks guys.

You need to write a cron file which executes daily and check that today's date is match with the one month before's date of expiration and if matches it will send you email notification .

for e.g set a cron at daily 2:30 AM 30 2 * * * /path to your file
