We have this mailer script that can take hundreds of email address.
Looping them in one shot creates some DB records and then dispatches them.
I think the loop is bogging down the server.
Does anyone have any recommendations for offloading this?
Saving it to the DB and then doing it incrementally doesn't make much sense to me since I still have to loop and hit the DB for each record.
What I feel I need to do is give the list and data to a runner and have it increment through it and lower the load.
However, I am not sure what system may be able to handle that.
