In VIM, I can use vim-go plugin, which helps list sub-functions like for example if I type fmt. it would start listing all functions in it.
But then it requires that the
import fmt
before hand else it won't list. Means vim-go is indexing from the imports
But I want to index even if I have not imported a certain module/function. How can that be done ?
I am using Goland and can see that it does that even when I have not imported the module
Am on Mac OSX. I downloaded go source and then tried to use -L switch of ctags to generate index file. But even when in man page it is given -L on using this flag, it says no such flag
In my source code folder, I downloaded go source
git clone https://github.com/golang/go.git
ctags -L go/src .
but this failed
