如何在案例中隐藏bootstrap中的信息提示框，并在request返回结果时候显示？

我想将bootstrap中的信息提示框隐藏，并在报错时显示。

<div class="alert alert-warning alert-dismissible  "   role="alert">

           <strong>
               登录失败!
               ${requestScope.get("code_error")}
               ${requestScope.get("user_error")}
           </strong>
        </div>

我尝试用jstl 来判定条件后显示。

<c:if test="${requestScope.get('code_error')!=null} ">
<div>
上面代码
<\div>
<\c:if>

但是这个方式不行

哪位大神有简单粗暴的方法啊？
