I have a basic level working knowledge of PHP and Javascript. The company I work for wants to be able to customize sales documents, that are in pdf currently per sales person and then send them to a client directly.
I'm trying to figure out a good way to make this happen via our portal I'm building.
I want to give the sales people an easy way to take company approved docs, modify specifics about them(ie. client names, prices, etc.) and be able to either print them out or email them from any computer on the fly.
Should I ditch pdf and recreate the docs in html or is there a way to modify the pdf and do what I need?
