按创建时间排序数据库表

hi i want to list all my tables from a database and order them by time, how can i do that so far i can list all my tables from the database but i can't order them by time;

if (!mysql_connect("localhost", "root", "")) {

$sql = "SHOW TABLES FROM $dbname";
$result = mysql_query($sql);

if (!$result) {

select * from information_schema.columns
order by create_time, column, table;
