I started building a site using PHP and MySQL around 2 months ago and for it to be as educational as possible, I decided to build it from scratch, using no PHP framework or JS libraries. The site is now nearly complete and it works well enough ... except when it comes to security. I've asked around for advise and I did some research but I don't think I'm ready to handle the security myself so I decided to rely on a framework. Problem is, I don't want to start all over again, so I'd like to find a way to reuse most of my work without having to tinker with it too much. Any ideas on how to operate.
