While converting HTML to WordPress, it's great if pages can be made dynamic (i.e can be changed from the dashboard without coding knowledge required). I have been using the plugin Advanced Custom Fields till now for it. Is there another way around without using a plugin?

Note: I am talking about dynamic pages not posts. Please don't recommend using posts for it.

You can use the custom meta box function for this and add the functionality to your page.

If you don't want to use the plugin then there is a function called add_meta_box. This function allows you to add a separate box on a specific post_type.
