在wordpress中发布帖子时向用户发送电子邮件

Question

I have a front end posting form where registered users can draft post. I have a meta field which contains email of the user who draft the content. Now when i publish the content from backend i want to send a email to user notifying that the post is published.

Any kinds of direction to the research will help.

heres an actual answer to your question - we all know how to send email :-) http://www.wprecipes.com/how-to-automatically-notify-your-members-on-new-posts you could probably add some logic to send the mail accordingly... i.e. just to the post author.
