Clicking any of the navigational links from the home page results in opening of the link in a new window (ie) or new tab (ff,chrome). However from any other page in the website the normal behaviour of the link (opening in the current page) occurs.
At no point does the code representing the navigation link change, and the behaviour is observed despite the removal of all external JavaScript files.
Any suggestion what can cause this problem?
