I dont know whether this has been asked before, and I've done some Googling and so far haven't turned up anything, so I was hoping that someone here might be able to help.
I'm looking for a web content management system which is quite modular-based. For example, so that I can enable a blog, forum, photo gallery, static pages, etc. In addition, the CMS should allow for custom templates, be self-hosted, and allow usergroups, custom profile fields and other things.
Can anyone recommend a few? Ideally, I'd like something written in PHP as this is the language with which I'm familiar, but this isn't essential.
P.S. I know that I can use Joomla! Modules or WordPress plugins, but I wondered if there was anything a little easier to work with, OOB?
