为什么要同步？一旦在doSlow（）中使用atomic？

I have a question about Once.doSlow(). The source code of Once is below:

Q: After a goroutine get the lock in doSlow(), why using atomic instead of directly let o.done = 1, like below:

if o.done == 0 {
    defer func(){o.done = 1}()
    f()
}
