Composer Install：系统中缺少所请求的PHP扩展zip

Question

I want to install composer on the server, but I get an error "the requested PHP extension zip is missing from your system". I have tried by typing the command

sudo apt-get install php7.1-zip

but get another error

E: Unable to locate the php7.1-zip package E: Couldn't find any package by regex 'php7.1-zip'

has anyone ever experienced it?

Try this

sudo apt install php-zip

or

sudo apt-get install php-zip

I will install the last version supported by your system,

then restart your apache server

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
