调试AngularJS代码

I have a project using AngularJS's MVC structure.

As I am not familiar with those Web application tools,can't figure out what all those variables do.

I have three files.

app.js has

var httpApiConfig = {
    headers: {
        'Content-Type': 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded;charset=utf-8;',
        headers: { 'Content-Type': 'application/json' },
    }
};
app.constant('httpApiConfig', httpApiConfig)

index.php

<?php

 * current environment. Setting the environment also influences
 * things like logging and error reporting.
 *
 * This can be set to anything, but default usage is:
 *
 *     development
 *     testing
 *     production
 *
 * NOTE: If you change these, also change the error_reporting() code below

 * DEFAULT CONTROLLER
 * --------------------------------------------------------------------
 *
 * Normally you will set your default controller in the routes.php file.
 * You can, however, force a custom routing by hard-coding a

 *
 * IMPORTANT: If you set the routing here, NO OTHER controller will be
 * callable. In essence, this preference limits your application to ONE
 * specific controller. Leave the function name blank if you need
 * to call functions dynamically via the URI.

 *  CUSTOM CONFIG VALUES
 * -------------------------------------------------------------------
 *
 * The $assign_to_config array below will be passed dynamically to the
 * config class when initialized. This allows you to set custom config

 * This can be handy as it permits you to share one application between

HomeResources.js

angular.module('app.home').factory('HomeResources', function ($http, $q, APP_CONFIG, httpApiConfig) {
    var dfd = $q.defer();

    return {
        // get_Admins: $resource(APP_CONFIG.apiRootUrl + "/Admin/adminApi", {}, {
        // 'query': { method: 'get', isArray: true },
        //     'add': { method: 'POST', url: apiUrl.url + '/Admin/adminApi/create', isArray: true },
        //     'delete': { method: 'POST', url: apiUrl.url + '/Admin/adminApi/delete' },
        //     'update': { method: 'POST', url: apiUrl.url + '/Admin/adminApi/update' }
        // }),
        getPosts: function () {
            var UPDATE_URL = APP_CONFIG.apiRootUrl + "/Advertisement/allposts";
            return $http.get(UPDATE_URL, httpApiConfig);
        },

        getCategories: function () {
            var UPDATE_URL = APP_CONFIG.apiRootUrl + "/Modules/allCategory";
            return $http.get(UPDATE_URL, httpApiConfig);
        },

        // banners: function () {
        //     var BANNERS_URL = APP_CONFIG.apiRootUrl + "/Profile/bannerList";
        //     return $http.get(BANNERS_URL);
        // },

    }
});

My query is in this HomeResources.js .

I do console log and APP_CONFIG.apiRootUrl is referring to the index.php shown above.

httpApiConfig is referring to the code in app.js.

My query is what does this line do return $http.get(UPDATE_URL, httpApiConfig); . I guess it is trying to read data from sql database. Can somebody explain what does exactly do?
